G&B Shutters - Required
Width (mm)
Height (mm)

Full Height - the most common type of shutter, they cover the entire length of the window and give it a breathtaking look.

Café Style - sit on the lower half of your window and don’t cover the entire height. These are perfect for letting in light while retaining privacy.

Tier-On-Tier - offer more versatility, with two sections that can be opened and closed separately from each other.

  • Tier-On-Tier
Please select how high from the bottom in cm you would like the tier-on-tier split to be. We have pre entered the recommened split height (middle of the drop).

Shutters can either sit inside the recess (allowing you space on your windowsill) or outside of it (against the wall). Both styles offer a unique look, all you need to do is choose the one you prefer.

Inside recess is the most popular option.

  • Inside Recess
  • Outside Recess

There are two types of frames you can choose from - L frames and Z frames. These are both named after how their ends look, so you can easily tell them apart.

For most shutters you will likely want to choose L frames, these can be used either inside or outside your window recess. However, if you want a shutter that fits inside the recess with a lip around the edge of the window, then Z frames are perfect for you.

L Frames are the most popular.

  • L Frame
  • Z Frame

The type of frame you choose is a largely cosmetic choice. Consider how you wish for your shutter to look when making your decision, but also think about how much light your want to let into your room. A larger frame will block out a little more light.

Full Frame tends to be the most popular choice.

  • Full Frame
  • Bottom, Left and Right
  • Top, Left and Right

Your louvre size depends on two things, the amount of light you want to let in and the style you are aiming for.

Smaller louvres have a very classic, rustic look. But let in a little less light, due to the number of louvres.

Bigger louvres offer a modern, bright and bold alternative. With fewer louvres needed, they have a distinctive look that complements contemporary styles.

64mm is a popular choice.

  • Louvre Size 64mm
  • Louvre Size 76mm
  • Louvre Size 89mm

The tilt rod is the part of the shutter that allows you to open and close the louvres and control the flow of light. There are two types of tilt rod - visible and hidden. Visible tiltrods can be used to open and close your shutter, hidden tiltrods require you to grip the louvres to open and close them.

The two types of tiltrod function in much the same way and the choice is largely cosmetic. Visible tiltrods are more common in rustic, traditional decors, while hidden tiltrods tend to be used with modern, contemporary designs.

  • Hidden Tilt Rod
  • Traditional Tilt Rod

If you are looking for a subtle finish, then choose a hinge colour that matches your shutter. However, if you want to be a bit bolder you can use a contrasting colour as an accent colour.

Bring the timeless look of traditional timber to every corner of your home with the GB Wood Impressions Shutter. Expertly crafted from a high-density, moisture-resistant polymer, these shutters offer the premium finish of painted wood with the added resilience of modern engineering. Perfect for any room—from steamy bathrooms to sun-drenched living areas—they provide a durable, long-lasting solution for privacy, light control, and thermal efficiency.

The Wood Impressions range is designed for homeowners who refuse to compromise between style and substance. While these shutters perfectly mimic the elegant grain and smooth texture of real wood, they are built to excel in environments where natural timber might struggle.

Resilient & Waterproof Design Constructed from a robust, high-grade polymer, these shutters are 100% moisture-resistant. This makes them the definitive choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and wet rooms, as they are guaranteed not to warp, peel, or crack even in high-humidity conditions.

Their durable surface also resists dents and scratches, making them ideal for high-traffic family homes. Precision Light & Privacy Control Featuring adjustable louvres, the Wood Impressions Shutter allows you to master the ambience of your room. Simply tilt the slats to filter natural light and obscure the view from outside, or close them fully for a peaceful, secluded environment. The cordless design is inherently child-safe, providing peace of mind for every member of the family.

Enhanced Home Comfort Beyond their visual appeal, these shutters act as an effective insulating layer at your windows. The dense material helps to trap heat during the winter and reflect it during the summer, keeping your living spaces comfortable year-round while potentially reducing energy costs. Additionally, the solid construction helps to muffle outside noise, creating a quieter, more serene home. Low-Maintenance Luxury Designed for the modern lifestyle, these shutters require minimal upkeep.

Unlike real wood, the finish is designed to stay vibrant and fresh without the need for repainting or staining. A simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that’s needed to keep them looking pristine, ensuring they remain a stunning focal point in your interior for years to come.
