G&B Shutters - Required
Width (mm)
Height (mm)

Full Height - the most common type of shutter, they cover the entire length of the window and give it a breathtaking look.

Café Style - sit on the lower half of your window and don’t cover the entire height. These are perfect for letting in light while retaining privacy.

Tier-On-Tier - offer more versatility, with two sections that can be opened and closed separately from each other.

  • Tier-On-Tier
Please select how high from the bottom in cm you would like the tier-on-tier split to be. We have pre entered the recommened split height (middle of the drop).

Shutters can either sit inside the recess (allowing you space on your windowsill) or outside of it (against the wall). Both styles offer a unique look, all you need to do is choose the one you prefer.

Inside recess is the most popular option.

  • Inside Recess
  • Outside Recess

There are two types of frames you can choose from - L frames and Z frames. These are both named after how their ends look, so you can easily tell them apart.

For most shutters you will likely want to choose L frames, these can be used either inside or outside your window recess. However, if you want a shutter that fits inside the recess with a lip around the edge of the window, then Z frames are perfect for you.

L Frames are the most popular.

  • L Frame
  • Z Frame

The type of frame you choose is a largely cosmetic choice. Consider how you wish for your shutter to look when making your decision, but also think about how much light your want to let into your room. A larger frame will block out a little more light.

Full Frame tends to be the most popular choice.

  • Full Frame
  • Bottom, Left and Right
  • Top, Left and Right

Your louvre size depends on two things, the amount of light you want to let in and the style you are aiming for.

Smaller louvres have a very classic, rustic look. But let in a little less light, due to the number of louvres.

Bigger louvres offer a modern, bright and bold alternative. With fewer louvres needed, they have a distinctive look that complements contemporary styles.

64mm is a popular choice.

  • Louvre Size 64mm
  • Louvre Size 76mm
  • Louvre Size 89mm

The tilt rod is the part of the shutter that allows you to open and close the louvres and control the flow of light. There are two types of tilt rod - visible and hidden. Visible tiltrods can be used to open and close your shutter, hidden tiltrods require you to grip the louvres to open and close them.

The two types of tiltrod function in much the same way and the choice is largely cosmetic. Visible tiltrods are more common in rustic, traditional decors, while hidden tiltrods tend to be used with modern, contemporary designs.

  • Hidden Tilt Rod
  • Traditional Tilt Rod

If you are looking for a subtle finish, then choose a hinge colour that matches your shutter. However, if you want to be a bit bolder you can use a contrasting colour as an accent colour.

Redefine your window dressing with the Urban Perfect Fit Shutter, a ground-breaking solution designed specifically for uPVC windows and doors. Combining the classic aesthetic of a plantation shutter with a unique "no-drill" installation system, these shutters clip directly onto your window frame in minutes. Lightweight, durable, and exceptionally practical, they move seamlessly with your windows and doors, making them the ultimate choice for tilt-and-turn openings and French doors.

The Urban Perfect Fit Shutter represents a leap forward in window treatment technology. If you love the look of custom shutters but want to avoid the permanence and complexity of drilling into your walls or frames, this range offers the perfect compromise of style and simplicity.

Innovation Without the Effort The standout feature of the Urban range is the Perfect Fit technology. Using discreet brackets that slide between the glass and the rubber glazing bead, the shutter frame snaps into place securely. There is no need for power tools, screws, or DIY expertise. This makes them an ideal solution for renters or those who want to maintain the integrity of their window warranties.

Designed for Movement Unlike traditional shutters that are fixed to the wall or a deep outer frame, Urban shutters become an integral part of your window.

Because they are fitted directly to the pane, they move with the window or door as it opens. This is the ideal solution for tilt-and-turn windows and bi-fold or French doors, where traditional shutters would often obstruct the handle or the opening mechanism. Enhanced Durability & Light Control Crafted from a high-quality, water-resistant polysilk vinyl, these shutters are built to last. They are incredibly easy to clean and will not warp or peel in humid environments like kitchens or bathrooms.

The louvres offer precision light control; with a simple tilt, you can direct sunlight away from screens, protect your furniture from UV rays, or create total evening privacy. A Cleaner, Safer Home The Urban shutter features a sleek, cordless design, making it inherently child and pet safe. Because the footprint of the shutter is so slim, it leaves your windowsills entirely clear, providing a minimalist look that maximizes the perceived space in your room.
